Specifically, 33.3% of surveyed CISOs reported no change in their budgets, and 12.2% saw an increase. However, another 33.3% experienced budget cuts, and 21.2% are managing frozen budgets.

A significant 75.8% of cybersecurity leaders are still open to meeting new vendors, but with more specific criteria. While 45.5% are willing to meet any vendor, 18.2% are focused on those addressing their immediate security needs, and 12.1% prefer younger startups. Additionally, 60% of their decision-making is driven by ROI and cost reduction.
